Happy Friday!

We're excited to launch "Feature Friday" where we get the chance to showcase some of the brands in our shop.

Addie from Design District Co

1) What inspired you to start Design District Co?

"Our little biz started because I wanted to make some ski pillows for my husbands family for Christmas. I LOVE pillows and even had a closet dedicated to my pillow addiction in our first house. Now we have a cute little pillow shop attached to our garage and it’s crazy how much we have grown and continue to with God’s good grace."

2) What does it mean to you to be a Midwest small business?

"I LOVE the Midwest. I love our full range of the four seasons. Our Midwest location has inspired lots of our hockey and lake designs."

3) Where's your favorite place to vacation in the Midwest?

"We are a boating family, so anywhere with a lake has my heart. We also love heading north to the Iron Range in winter and enjoy family time skiing at Giants Ridge."

4) What's your favorite season?

"I am so torn on this! As I mentioned I love all the seasons- we love getting outside no matter what type of weather! Summer nights on the lake and golf cart rides, fall campfires and pumpkin patches, winter ice skating and skiing, and spring fashion and fresh starts!"

5) Your personal favorite Design District Co piece?

"The God’s Got This collection is near and dear to my heart. Sharing God’s goodness with our products is something truly special."

6) Favorite football team

"Hmmmm our local small town Janesville Bulldogs! I am an avid hometown fan and so enjoy those Friday Night Lights."

7) Anything else you'd like to add?

"I am so honored to have our products in Midwest shops and stores all over the United States. We truly put our heart and soul into our little family business, and seeing our products all over makes me giddy!"

You can find Addie's pillows on our shop now!

Sarah Biegel
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Sarah attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she met and married her college sweetheart, Vince (5th generation cranberry grower). The two of them set out to pursue Vince’s NFL career in Florida where they currently reside. Due to their many adventures, Sarah has learned to appreciate the little things that go into making a home, a home. There’s nothing like finding an antique with a unique story or filling your home with a scent that reminds you of old memories. She enjoys baking recipes with her daughter that have been handed down to her from prior generations. Sarah loves coming back home and spending time on the cranberry marsh and hitting up the local ice cream shop.
