Sweet Honey Cranberry Butter

Few things are better than warm biscuits with butter or jam.  Our family favorite is sweet honey cranberry butter.  This treat is so easy to make, and stores for a few weeks. Today the girls and I decided to do some baking, and make some sweet treats to share with friends tomorrow. When dads away, the girls will play!

INGREDIENTS

- 4 sticks unsalted sweet butter
- 1/2 cup Ocean Spray Cranberries chopped (fresh or frozen) or Craisins left whole
- 1/3 cup honey
- pinch of cinnamon (optional)

DIRECTIONS

In a small sauce pan slowly melt butter, honey, and cranberries (If you use fresh or frozen berries, remember to chop roughly) on very low heat.  Do not let it simmer, or the butter will burn.  Keep on low heat for 20-40 minutes to allow ingredients to combine (If you choose to use Craisins, allow for more time).

Pour warm butter into dish or jar, and cool in refrigerator.
